Description
Microorganism 4 is an original copperplate etching made by me during a personal study on microorganisms of aquatic world.
Cyclops strenuus is a common species of copepod in small water bodies in central Europe: in this etching, the female is on the left and the male is on the right. To be even more specific, these particular species are those found in the Lake of Tovel (Dolomites of Brenta).
The copperplate is an “Acquaforte”, an etching obtained with two acid baths + aquatint (with two other acid baths)
