Description
Ponte Ruga Bella o del Forner is one of the bridges crossing the San Zan Degolร Canal, in the Santa Croce district in Venice. This bridge connects two wonderful venetian โcampiโ (squares), Campo San Giacomo dellโOrio and Campo Nazario Sauro.
The name of the โrioโ (canal) is San Zan Degolร : in venetian, it is the name of St. John the Baptist (San Zan=St. John; degolร =beheaded).
This is the view of the bridge as you see it from the facing bridge Ponte Ruga Vecchia (if you want, Iโve talked about this bridge hereย https://plumplumcreations.com/2015/02/arianna-crime-scene/)
