Description

The Rio di Ognissanti (“All Saints” Canal) is a Venice canal in Dorsoduro district, close to San Trovaso.
On the background you can see the Santa Maria del Rosario Church, better known as Gesuati Church, close to Campo S. Agnese, built around 1730.

The Rio di Ognissanti owes its name to the nearby monastery built at the beginning of the 15th century by a group of nuns.

Technique used: pencil drawing colored withย watercolors on 300 gr. artistico Fabriano paper.
