Description
Ponte degli Scudi (Scudi Bridge) is a bridge in the district of Castello in Venice. Castello is the largest of the six sestieri of Venice.
If there is a district in Venice that can be defined “quaint”, this is certainly Castello, with its canals, churches and small parks dating back to the thirteenth century. Here you can see the clothes hung out to dry between a window and the other: this is the city you’ve always dreamed about.
Ponte degli Scudi is in the heart of Castello, close to San Francesco della Vigna and a few steps away from Arsenale.
Technique used: thin black felt pen drawing colored with watercolors.
