Description
Microorganism 5 is an original zincplate engraving made by me during a personal study on microorganisms of aquatic world.
The subject of the print shows Lymnaea embryos inside the gelatinous cells of the ovarian deposition. The Lymnaea is one of the most widespread freshwater molluscs.
The zinc plate was first prepared with a light photoengraving and then darkened with the drypoint technique.
Printed on Fabriano rosaspina 60% cotton paper.
