San Vio Canal

Description

The San Vio Canal (Saints Vito and Modesto Canal) is a Venice canal placed in Dorsoduro district, in the area between the Accademia and the Salute Church.
The San Vio Canal is about 270 metres long. It links the Giudecca Canal to the Grand Canal in a south-north direction.

This watercolor shows the canal on the side of Campo San vio, overlooking the Grand Canal.

Technique used: pencil drawing colored with watercolors on 300 gr. artistico Fabriano paper.
