Bosmine 1

 40,00

Description

Bosmine 1 is an original zinc plate etching made by me during a personal study on microorganisms of aquatic world.

The subject represents a typical freshwater microorganism, the bosmine, which can be found abundant in small and large lakes, and whose particular transparent body allows you to see the inside in a fascinating play of transparencies.

The zinc plate has been worked with the technique of the two-morsure etching and then with the three-morsure aquatint.

Printed on Fabriano rosaspina 60% cotton paper.

Paper size: 10 x 7 inches
Image size: 3.9 x 2.7 inches

This item is individually made by hand in my studio in Venice – there may be slight variations in color, making this a unique, one-of-a-kind piece of art. The artwork may look slightly different from photos. Small imperfections or irregularities add to the handmade charm, distinguishing this piece from mass-produced prints
