Fondamenta Malcanton watercolor

This watercolor shows a canal and its fondamenta in Venice, placed in the Dorsoduro distric: it is the Rio de Santa Margherita, just behind Campo Santa Margherita. This is how you see the canal from Ponte del Forno (“Furnace Bridge”), and on the right there is the Fondmenta Malcanton. You can see the view on Google Street view clicking here.

Technique used: thin black felt pen drawing colored with watercolors on 200 gr. Rismacqua Favini ivory paper
